Почему Россия так не хочет подписания соглашения Украины и ЕС?

Казалось бы: если все пойдет так как описывают россияне, то Украина вскоре выйдет из соглашения об ассоциации и изменит курс на Таможенный Союз. Ведь это же – далеко не членство в ЕС и даже его, на самом деле, и не предполагает! Зачем Россия тогда себя так ведет?..

In Redmine you can organize your projects using parent projects!.. This means, that you should create dummy projects, which will play role of categories. For me this is like bringing bought goods home using a… tank – it does its job but it’s too heavy, and confusing.
For this reason I devoted a whole page (161) to using projects as categories in my book Mastering Redmine.
Ненависть чи справедливість?

Моя робота в Softjourn мала багато негативних епізодів але мої пости про це я не вважаю ознакою “ненависті”. Щоб прояснити свої мотиви, хочу навести найбільш яскравий та зрозумілий більшості епізод. Однак, уточню спеціально, це – далеко не єдиний такий!
Річ піде про відмову виплатити мені компенсацію у повному обсязі за невикористані 93 дні відпустки…

В последнее время все дружно делятся статейкой “Особенности русской разработки” (где под “русской”, конечно же, подразумевают “славянской”) некоего Асхата Уразбаева (кстати, совсем не славянина, насколько я понимаю) и соглашаются с его видением “нашего” менталитета… Я же, по правде говоря, прочитав его статью не узнал наших! То ли украинцы (в частности, западные) сильно отличаются от русских, то ли автор банально выдает желаемое за действительное. Вполне возможно, что реальные вещи приукрашиваются намеренно, поскольку автор, насколько я понимаю, зарабатывает на тренингах, и кто же его пригласит, если он выразится недостаточно корректно?
Проблема українських IT-шників

Перший крок до рішення проблеми – це її усвідомлення.
Багато українських програмістів вірить у виключні здібності українських IT-шників і у перспективність української IT-галузі.
Насправді ж все – навпаки! В Україні – дуже слабенька IT-галузь і дуже зіпсовані аутсорсингом програмісти (ця проблема, до речі, існує і в Індії).
Redmine › Meta: Twitter Cards approved!
The Meta plugin comes with support for Twitter Cards since version 0.2.0. But, as I have noticed, adding support is not enough for them to work… Twitter won’t display your cards until their usage for you domain will be approved by Twitter staff.
Therefore, right after putting the plugin on my website I sent the request to Twitter for approving my domain (using this page). Usually I deploy the plugin to the site in some time before I release it (to test, how it works in the real environment), so I hoped to get approved before the release. But Twitter guys appeared to be slow in this – I released the fixed 0.2.1 and the domain was not approved yet. Eventually, I stopped expecting the approvement to be done… But today, finally, I got an email notifying, that my domain had been approved!
Mastering Redmine: Launching the project for reader support
There should be a place, where readers can come in a case of doubts, questions, for clarification or specification, and so on. The Mastering Redmine project is such place for readers of the Mastering Redmine book, which was authored by me and published on January 25 by Packt Publishing.
I’m quite sure, that this book and this project will bring new users to my website. I hope, that such users will read this particular news, where I’m going to describe, what you can find on the website and in this particular project…

Many of you, perhaps, wondered why I supported such old Redmine versions as 1.0.x? The answer is simple: cause I used (and still do) Redmine 1.0.1!.. But why?..
I used to work as a Linux system administrator, so I know, what is the security and how important is to have a well tested and well maintained installation. For this reason I chose Debian as my server platform. Debian is, however, known to have outdated package versions… But there is a reason why it happens. Debian has three “branches”: unstable, testing and stable. To get into the stable branch a package needs to pass the unstable branch, where it gets tested, and wait for a release in the testing branch, where the whole system gets tested once again.
Моя думка: Vulytsia чи Street?

В першу чергу хочу зауважити, що єдина варта уваги причина писати “vulytsia” замість “street” – це те, що робити припущення, що усі іноземці знають англійську – не зовсім коректно по відношенню до них, так само некоректно використовувати тільки англійську, “ображаючи” таким чином національні почуття, для прикладу, німців, греків, французів, арабів і т.д. Щоправда дивно чути про таку толерантність до інших від людей, які не проявляють елементарної толерантності навіть до своїх (наприклад, до російськомовних співвідчизників). Хоча все стає зрозумілим як тільки взяти до уваги посилену “національну патріотичність” прихильників “vulyts”…
